69 Days!

I never ever would have believed anyone that would have told me that it would take us 69 days from start to finish to complete our homestudy! It seems like such a cut and dry process. You fill out a BUNCH of papers, gather some official documents, have a physical with your medical doctor, get fingerprinted and have a home visit. No problem, right?!? That is until you realize that the more people and government branches that are involved the more time delays you will have. But I digress...

We are now officially certified to adopt. Woo-hoo!!!!!!!!!!
The Homestudy is the foundation of the whole process. Since this very thorough study is done we can now start to begin the journey of being placed with our child. Today is a very important day...we are legally approved to be parents.

I just finished emailing this very important document to Ted and Bev Skiles. We are overjoyed that this day has finally come and believe that God in His infinite wisdom has a plan for each and every one of the hurdles and delays that we endured.
