I Spy With My Little Eyes

Titus has been rubbing his forehead just above his eyes for quite awhile now.  So, the next logical step was to schedule an eye exam.  All the way, to the eye doctor's office we talked about how Dr. Z was going to look at Titus' eyes and how he would need to cooperate and follow directions.  We arrived at the office, filled out paperwork, and were quickly taken to an exam room.

Titus was a pro!   He quickly sat up in the exam chair like a big boy and let the doctor play games with him and exam his eyes.  He was exuberant to tell and show Dr. Z where his eyes, nose, mouth, ears, hair, knees, elbows, and toes were.   I guess he thought they all needed to be checked out.  He even cooperated without complaint when it came to administering dilating drops and having pictures of his eyes taken.
All in all, we were given a great report.  Titus has a slight astigmatism, which is a normal development in babies and he is within the normal range.  We are going to schedule another appointment in about 6 months when Titus is able to recognize more colors, shapes and objects to receive a comprehensive exam.

While we aren't still aren't sure what is causing the headaches and will look into other options, this Mama, is thrilled that her tiny tot will not sporting glasses for a while (or maybe never) longer!
