Mother's Day is here.
I want to give you a word of cheer,
Being your child is new to me,
Being a new parent is new to you also, I see.
We'll work together day by day
To build on the love that Jesus gave.
I am yours and you are mine.
Happy Mother's Day
I say at this time.
I'm not in your arms yet
So patient still you must be.
But Lord willing I'll be there before you can count one, two three.
...of course you'll have to count slowly.
